Electricity cost calculator

Estimate constant-power device consumption and cost at an explicit manual tariff.

Calculation stays in this browser, without requests carrying your entries or automatic storage. These small, bounded calculations run synchronously; there is no background job to cancel.

Choose a currency label and 0–3 decimal places explicitly. These are your accounting settings, not an automatic currency-rule lookup or currency conversion. Amounts and offer prices must fit this precision; energy tariffs and fuel rates may have up to 6 decimals.

Use nonnegative decimal digits with a dot or Arabic decimal separator. Arabic and Persian digits are accepted. No spaces, signs, grouping, exponent notation or line breaks. At most 12 whole digits and 6 fractional digits; values must not exceed 999999999999.

Energy = watts × hours/day × days × device count ÷ 1000 kWh. This estimates constant consumption at a fixed manual tariff; it does not include fixed charges, tiers or taxes. Only the total cost is rounded, with half a minor unit rounded upward.

How to use

Enter power per device in watts, daily operating hours, days and device count. Enter a manual price per kWh, choose currency and precision, then calculate.

Try an example

One 1000 W device running 2 hours a day for 30 days consumes 60 kWh. A tariff of 0.25 gives a cost of 15.00 at 2 decimals.

Support & limits

Energy = W × hours/day × days × device count ÷ 1000. Hours range from 0–24; whole days from 0–36600; device count from 1–1000; and tariff from 0–1000000 with up to 6 decimals. The calculator assumes no country tariff, fixed fees, tiers or taxes and models constant power and operation. Cost is calculated as an exact fraction and rounded once to your precision, with half a minor unit upward.

Common questions

Is this a prediction of the provider’s bill?

It estimates energy multiplied by the manual tariff only. Actual bills may contain charges or varying consumption that these inputs do not model.
