Watermark PDF

Overlay a supported text watermark on selected pages with position, size and opacity controls.

One unencrypted PDF, up to 50 MiB and 200 pages. Local processing has a 15-second deadline per stage; existing parser budgets still apply. The original stays unchanged.

Adds a text overlay without flattening pages. Fields and links are retained within the current PDF engine support; XFA and unsupported structures are rejected. Digital signatures are not guaranteed after editing. Review the output document.

Watermark text: 1–80 printable ASCII characters only (basic Latin letters, digits and symbols). Arabic shaping inside the watermark is not supported.

For example 1,3-5; selection order is preserved.

How to use

Choose a PDF and page selection. Enter basic Latin letters, digits or ASCII symbols, choose position, font size and opacity, then download the new copy.

Try an example

DRAFT at 36 points and 0.3 opacity is overlaid at the center of selected pages without changing their order.

Support & limits

Arabic shaping inside the watermark and logo watermarks are not supported in this version; unsupported characters are rejected. A watermark is not a digital signature, copy protection or secure redaction. Review appearance and fields after editing.

Common questions

Does the watermark support Arabic text?

The interface is localized, but the current watermark font supports printable ASCII only. Arabic text is explicitly rejected until font embedding and shaping are verified; it is not replaced by broken characters.
