Fill PDF forms
Edit supported AcroForm fields and save a new editable PDF locally, with explicit refusal of unsupported features.
How to use
Choose a file and wait for its fields to load. Enable “Edit this field” for each field you want to change, then enter text, choose an option or change a checkbox state. Use Tab to move between controls and the usual keyboard shortcuts for multi-select lists. Save the selected fields to a new file, review the first-page preview, then download the PDF and inspect its remaining pages in your reader. Any input change invalidates the previous output.
To change a name from Before to After and check a consent box, select only those two fields. The new file retains the other fields, pages, links and comments; the original is unchanged.
Support & limits
Supports single-line text fields, checkboxes, radio groups, dropdowns and multi-select lists. Edited text and choice fields use black 12-point Helvetica; their previous font or appearance is not guaranteed to be retained. Values that do not fit are rejected without clipping. Unedited appearances are retained, with no flattening or page rasterization. XFA, signatures and related permissions, field actions and calculations, unsupported field structures, and NeedAppearances=true are unsupported. Hidden, read-only, rich-text, password, file-selection, comb and multiline fields cannot be edited; an independent field may still be changed if the document passes validation. Preview displays only the first page through local PDF.js and the existing gate, without an annotation layer or scripting manager, and has a separate 15-second rendering deadline. There is no OCR or comprehensive hidden-data sanitization.
Common questions
Can I enter Arabic text in a field?
Not in this version: the font supports WinAnsi and cannot render newly entered Arabic, CJK or emoji. These inputs are explicitly rejected rather than producing incomplete appearances. Existing Arabic values and appearances in unselected fields remain unchanged; this does not prove correct shaping in every Arabic file. An Arabic interface does not imply Arabic font support for filling.
