SVG to PNG

Convert the supported SVG shapes and paths to a local PNG, with explicit rejection of other features.

Explicit limited profile: svg, g, rect, circle, ellipse, line, polyline, polygon and path. Paths support M/L/H/V/C/Q/Z only. No text, fonts, embedded images, links, style, transform, filters, gradients, use, script, foreignObject, XML/DTD declarations or entities. Any other feature rejects the complete file.

256 KiB, 512 elements and depth 16; 8192 path values and 2048 segments. Dimensions up to 2048, total 4 MP and output 16 MiB; 8-second deadline. Dimensions are numeric pixels without px. Changing the aspect ratio can stretch the drawing. Cancellation discards output and releases references; it cannot guarantee immediate interruption of native encoding.

How to use

Choose a local SVG or paste its source. Check the supported profile, choose PNG dimensions or leave them at source size, then select transparency/background and convert. Review the PNG preview before downloading.

Try an example

A 40×20 SVG with a red 20×20 rectangle produces a PNG with a red left half and a transparent right half when transparency is enabled.

Support & limits

Supports only svg, g, rect, circle, ellipse, line, polyline, polygon, path, M/L/H/V/C/Q/Z paths and limited explicit fills/strokes/colors. Dimensions use numeric pixels without units. Rejects text, style, transform, use, image, fonts, filters, gradients, animations, script, foreignObject, DTD, XML entities, comments and XML declarations. Unsupported features are never silently stripped. A changed output ratio may stretch the drawing. Uses the real browser image and Canvas engines, without a custom worker; an 8-second deadline and discarded cancellation output do not guarantee immediate native-encoding interruption.

Common questions

Why reject a valid SVG that works in a drawing editor?

This is a limited shapes-and-paths converter, not a complete SVG implementation. Your file may contain text, a transform, filter or another unsupported feature. The entire file is rejected rather than creating an image with silently missing parts; use a simplified source matching the stated profile.
