Business days calculator

Count business days between two dates using your chosen weekends and manual holidays, with explicit endpoint inclusion.

Weekend days

Proleptic Gregorian years 0001–9999 as YYYY-MM-DD. Choose your weekend days; the editable default is Saturday and Sunday. Both endpoints are included by default and can be excluded independently. Up to 366 unique manual holiday dates; out-of-range holidays or those on weekends do not subtract another day. No official holiday calendar.

Digits 0–9, ٠–٩ and ۰–۹ are accepted. Oversized input is rejected without silent truncation.

Calculation stays in your browser without uploads or automatic storage. Operations are bounded and synchronous; there is no background job or Cancel button. Only page assets are loaded from the site.

How to use

Enter the dates and independently include or exclude each endpoint. Select your actual weekend days, then enter manual holiday dates if needed. Calculate and review included days, weekend days, effective holidays and business days. Copy the report or download TXT.

From 2024-01-01 through 2024-01-07, including both endpoints, with Saturday/Sunday weekends and holiday 2024-01-01: 7 included days, 2 weekend days, 1 holiday and 4 business days.

Support & limits

The editable Saturday/Sunday default is an example, not a national rule. No official holidays are fetched. Weekend or out-of-range holidays do not subtract another day; duplicates and blank lines are rejected. Equal dates count once only when both endpoints are included, otherwise zero. Reversed ranges are rejected. Weeks are counted arithmetically without visiting every date or depending on DST.

Common questions

Does this give a legally defined working-day count?

No. It reflects only your inputs. Check the relevant organization’s rules and enter any exclusions yourself. Selecting no weekend days or all seven days is also allowed when it matches your calculation.
